Miniflex™ LSZH Cable

Miniflex Low Smoke Zero HalogenMiniflex™ Low Smoke Zero Halogen fibre cable is a flexible, pushable fibre optic cable, which is ideal for the last drop in an FTTx rollout.

It comprises one to 24 fibres in a protective sheath, which is made of lightweight, durable polymer and features patented groove technology that combines flexibility with strength. The cable is available in different types, including G.657A1 singlemode and G.651 OM3 multimode.

Miniflex fibre cable is best suited to short FTTx runs of up to 150m; its unique properties mean it can be pushed into a building by hand – or using a small machine – in just a few minutes by a non-specialist fibre engineer.

It can also be deployed over longer distances; applying low pressure air allows the cable to be pushed further and the groove technology provides extra traction.

And in some instances Miniflex fibre cable is installed using blowing or pulling techniques.
